National Trust - Basildon Park

It is a very nice manor near Reading under NT care. It is built almost 250 years ago and in Palladian style.

After you parked in their car park, you need to walk for a few minutes uphill to reach the manor. It is a very pleasant walk even on windy days as it is a bit sheltered.

This house is frequently used in filming and I used to think they didn’t spent enough effort promoting those.

Recently they opened the Garden room, introducing various films / TV series that filmed in this house. Absolutely fantastic
