The National Commercial & Savings Bank

The National Commercial & Savings Bank, incorporated in Hong Kong, issued banknotes in 1920s in China.
Shanghai are easier to find while Hankow is harder.
This is the 10 Dollars note issued in Shanghai in 1924

Japanese Yokohama Specie Bank 10 Sen note

Japan seized the German colonies in China after WWI.
Subsequently, the Japanese based Yokohama Specie Bank issued banknotes in those colonies.
This is a 10 sen banknote issued by the TsingTao branch.

Free City of Danzig - Tobacco Monopoly Loan

Free City of Danzig is a city guaranteed by an international treaty. It is a semi-autonomous city with inhabited by Germans that doesn't belongs to Germany. This city holds a north sea port vital for Polish trade. While the city can decide local things and what not, important decisions are up to the Polish Government.
In order to raise money, the city need consensus from the League of Nations, The Polish Republic and the city's senate.

Gold Bond of the Chinese Imperial Government issued 1896


Chinese lost the Sino-Japanese War on 1895. To pay the war reparations, the Ching Government borrowed money from the UK and Germany the sum of 16 million pounds, equivalent of 3.7 million troy ounce of Gold.

Underwrote by the HSBC and Deutsch-Asiatische Bank (which is defunct since the German lost  the WWI)
Stamped by 大清欽差全權大臣關防
